I usually have many links with my posts, but only because I feel more information gives more power to make informed decisions.  I hope the supporting information provided below helps you to understand better why sugar is a danger to your diet.

Have you tried to stop consuming sugar or reduce your sugar intake? Wow, how challenging! I’ve been researching the effects of too much sugar in the diet and what I learned convinced me to stay away from it, but it is not easy.  What I learned is that sugar contributes to cancer, skin issues such as eczema and acne,  inflammation, obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure and so much more.

My reason for sugar consumption was for energy, you get that slump in the afternoon, visit the vending machine at work and yummy cookies, pop tarts, or some type of candy or other sugary product calls to you for a pick-me-up.

Who regularly consumes soda as their energy source? Watch the video below and you might rethink what you drink.
